Policies

Guarantee Policy: Designated holidays require a two-night deposit per room, including occupancy tax. For a stay of three nights or more, the deposit is 50% of your total stay. Your deposit is processed immediately and applied to the total amount of your stay. Holidays are a minimum 3-night stay; designated holidays include Spring Break, Memorial Day Weekend, Fourth of July, Labor Day Weekend, Thanksgiving, and New Year’s.

RV & Campsite Cancellation Policy: Should you cancel 15 days or more in advance of your arrival, your deposit is refundable less a $15 processing fee per site. Should you need to cancel 14 days or less from your scheduled date of arrival, your entire deposit will be non-refundable. No refunds will be issued for the cancellation of a portion of a reserved stay or a reduction in site rentals made within 14 days of arrival. Cancellation of the reservation during a designated holiday will result in deposit forfeiture. Please note, that due to our remote location and limited accommodations, we cannot make exceptions to our deposit and cancellation policies. We very strongly recommend, for peace of mind, all guests purchase travel insurance. 

RV & Campsite Check-In & Check-Out:  Check-in time is 2 p.m. and check-out time is noon. No RV or campsite will be allowed to check-in or set-up during the Park’s quiet hours. Any late check-ins or check-outs will incur a fee of $20/hour. Please contact Guest Services with any questions or concerns.

Maximum Occupancy: There is a limit of Eight (8) guests per site and Two (2) pets per site.

Pets:  Well-behaved pets are welcome at Canyon of the Eagles in designated guest rooms and most public spaces (not inside buildings unless service dog).  The pet charge is $25 per pet per stay with a limit of two (2) pets.  Pet charge is subject to change.  All pets must be registered at the front desk and failure to register Fido may result in a $100 fee added to your bill upon checkout.  All pets must be current on their inoculations and must be on a leash at all times when in the park.  All damage created by a pet is the sole responsibility of the pet owner to fix or replace.  Management is authorized to charge the pet owner for damage caused by their pet(s).  Pet owners are required to collect droppings left by their animals and, if necessary, a cleanup cost of $25 per occurrence will be charged to the pet owner if there is failure to clean up their pet’s waste.  Noxious (noisy, misbehave, or nuisance) animals are not allowed.  All pets are to be crated or absent when housekeeping performs their daily limited service.  Please do not tie your dogs in public areas and leave them unattended.

1. GUESTS SERVICES: For assistance please leave a message at (512)334-2070 and we will return your call when possiable. We are closed Friday's 4PM until Monday's at 8AM. 

2. SAFETY, SECURITY & EMERGENCY NUMBERS: IN CASE OF AN EMERGENCY OR FIRE, CALL 911! Then please contact the Resort at 512/334-2070 or after hour contacts. Please note the location of your building’s fire extinguisher and escape route upon your arrival. Should you see or smell a fire or have any questions, please contact the resort immediately. If it is an emergency, do not hesitate and dial 911..For non-emergency assistance please dial after hours number available on the door of Registration Desk. Please be aware that this number is not montiored 24/7 if no one is available to answer please leave a voicemail. 

3. CHILDREN: Due to the intimate size and remote nature of our resort, we ask that children age 16 and under be supervised at all times by the care of parents, a nanny, or guardian. Please remember to use caution when exploring the surrounding areas with young children and pets. The wildlife is in their natural habitat and may be protective of their environment.

4. PETS: We are a pet friendly resort! Pets must  stay in crates when left unattended, and be on a leash no longer than six feet when walking in the Park.  Guests are responsible for cleaning up after their pets and any damage that their pets may cause to the rooms or property. Barking dogs will not be allowed to stay when they disturb others.

5. SWIMMING POOL: CLOSED

As a precaution: LCRA STRONGLY URGES PET OWNERS NOT TO ALLOW THEIR DOGS TO EAT ALGAE IN THE LAKE.

6. GRILLS OR OUTDOOR COOKING: Grills permitted only in Tent or RV site, Grills available at waterfront as a first come first serve basis. Campfires permitted in desginated burn pit provided in each site.

7. NATURE TRAILS: 16 miles of groomed nature trails are available for your enjoyment, for any age or ability (some trails may be closed due to the nesting season for threatened birds). We frequently see a variety of species of birds and wildlife throughout the park and beach areas.

8. ASSUMPTION OF RISK: COTE and the Park are a unique nature-based resort facility that includes the opportunity for you to participate in a variety of activities including without limitation hiking, kayaking and lakefront activities. Please follow all communicated and posted safety instructions and guidelines. Participation in any such activities involves some level of risk, and you assume all risk in such participation. Guest agrees that COTE and the Lower Colorado River Authority (as owner of the Park), and their respective affiliates (Released Parties) are not responsible for any injuries, sickness, accidents or death that may occur while visiting and staying at the Park, and you hereby release each of the Released Parties from any liability or claims relating to any such injuries, sickness, accidents or death. Additionally, the owners, operators and their respective affiliates are not liable for any loss of or damage to your personal property including merchandise or stolen goods, articles, or valuables prior to, during or subsequent to any stay.

9. COVID-19 REMINDERS: Masks or face coverings are recommended for persons 3 years of age or older while inside public areas and buildings. Masks are optional while engaged in outdoor activities. Please practice social distancing, be courteous and respectful of space towards other guests and practice good social habits.

10. REMINDERS: Please practice our Leave-No-Trace (LNT) Program when enjoying Mother Nature. This means keeping our property pristine, especially from food, trash, or pet droppings. We appreciate your pledge to leave each place you stop to enjoy…better than you found it. Also, please help us protect the native species that live in this natural and rich ecosystem. We appreciate you not feeding the animals.

11. PET POLICY: 

Thank you for staying at Canyon of the Eagles (COTE) and bringing your beloved pet(s). It is our intent to provide you and your furry friend(s) with an enjoyable and safe stay. For the comfort and safety of all guests and pets, we ask all pet owners to act responsibly and pets to behave while visiting our nature-based property.

Please read and adhere to the following pet policies:

  1. I agree to properly remove and dispose of my pet’s waste while at COTE. Failure to do so will result in a $25 fee per occurrence.

  2. I agree to pay COTE for cleaning, repairs, or replacement costs due to odor, pet stains and/or damage caused by my pet(s) as determined within the sole discretion of COTE. I authorize my credit card on file to be charged for the cost of these additional services.

  3. I am responsible for the noise my pet creates and will ensure that my pet does not disrupt the quiet enjoyment of other guests. Failure to control excessive barking or disturbing other guests may result in removal from COTE.

  4. My pet(s) must be on a leash, attended to, and always under control while on COTE property, including the nature trails. Pets are not allowed to be tied to trees or other structures.

  5. My pet(s) are not allowed in the food and beverage facilities, meeting spaces, or the swimming pool area except for service dogs with proper identification provided upon check-in.

  6. I understand my pet(s) must be crated and/or I must be present in the guestroom if and while the room may be serviced by resort staff unless other arrangements have been made in advance with Guest Services.

  7. I respect nature, wild animals and the ecosystem at COTE. I will not let my pet(s) chase, bother or hurt the wildlife. In addition, while on the trails, I will make sure to have plenty of water and take in consideration the health of my pet(s) and human family.

  8. I will not bathe my pet(s) in the guestroom bathroom or in the RV bath house showers. Washing stations may be identified by the front desk.
